Lovin The Weather!

OK...so I'm sitting outside watching Caleb run around, whine, and eat a sucker. LIFE IS GRAND! That was slightly sarcastic, I really do love hanging outside with my son. The biggest thing I'm struggling with is too much time. I just want to get something rolling!

I recently had another conversation with Eastside Community and I thought it went well...I just really want to know if I am the person they're looking for or not. To be completely honest, if I don't get the position, I'll be really sad. I will also know that I'm not the person God has placed in the lives of that church and then could fully pursue another position here in Wichita.

As for now, I shall spend my days hanging with Caleb and not giving up hope for what God has in store.

So I just found this website that allows you to post to many different websites from one place. This is probably old news to everyone, but wonderful news to me! I've been looking for a way to do this via my cell and now I can! The website is called www.ping.fm and I'm loving it. I haven't tried to adjust settings or upload pictures yet, but I'm sure there's a way. I say all of this because I'll actually be able to update my blog without having to be at the computer.

Latest news in my life is that we no longer live in Fort Smith, AR...we moved back to Wichita, KS. in order to be closer to family. The past three months, I have been in conversation with a church about their youth pastor position. It's an awesome church whose full focus is reaching the unchurched and discipling believers in an authentic community! Needless to say, we are extremely excited and would love to be a part of this ministry. The church is called Eastside Community and you can check them out at www.eastsidecommunity.com. News from ME!

i clearly stink at creating titles that would catch everyone's attention. So the news would be that Westminster has decided on a new Senior Pastor as well as a Senior High Youth Director! this is very exciting because they have been without a senior pastor for 2 and 1/2 years now and the youth were getting restless about not having a senior high director. the pastor's name is Jim Gilcrest and the youth pastor's name is Buzz Matthews. Buzz is coming from Seattle and creates hip-hop music!! Here's his myspace page. Other than that, Leah and I are getting our house fixed up...quite slowly, but some progress non-the-less. Our baby is the size of a Lemon right now and will be growing at incredible rates from here on out!! July 20th we have our sonogram pictures and will hopefully find out what gender our baby is! Exciting. That is all for now. I will scan and place pictures on here as soon as we get them! peace.

Not that anyone reads this...

I just thought I'd let you all know that my wife is pregnant!! She is due December 22 and we just heard the heartbeat this last monday!! Woop woop. I have very few thoughts about this because it's still not real...ya know? As I begin to realize the magnitude of such an event, I'll let you know my thoughts.
